Are you looking for an Italian course for adults? What is the difference between an Italian course for adults and a course for children?
The teaching methods and techniques used by teachers for young students do not always work well for adults.
For adult people, it is essential to immediately put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired to assess their usefulness. Remember:
For this reason, our Italian courses for adults include a practical part in which the student, accompanied by the teacher, interacts firsthand in an environment outside the school (a bar, a shop, a bookstore, the market, etc.).
At the beginning of the Italian course for adults, the teacher examines the students’ level of knowledge, their aspirations, evaluates what has been learned after the lesson, and chooses the teaching method and main motivation. This approach is called the KWHL method (know, want, how, learn): knowing, wanting, learning how to learn, and why.
The main challenge in organizing teaching for adults is the lack of time, stress, various personal, social, and environmental factors. To eliminate their influence, Istituto Galilei guarantees the following to students attending our Italian course for adults:
Furthermore, you can combine your Italian course for adults with various Italian culture lessons organized in the afternoon, creating a fully personalized program that suits your preferences!
Our Italian courses for adults include a guided tour of the historic center of Florence with our art history teacher, a visit to the famous Florentine central market (Mercato di San Lorenzo) together with the Italian teacher, and an evening of musical activities. Upon request, a cooking course with dinner can also be included for a small additional fee.
